I was just wondering if anyone can recommend a pc gaming web site? I don't mind pc gamer and rock paper shotgun but they are british based and both owned by the same company if I'm right, you can see it in the similar stories on the same day etc They also censor a lot of comments that don't agree with their agendas in respect to a deeper analysis about games and their themes etc They also basically attack your phone on mobile with lots of popups etc at least on pc I can put in a simple ad blocker and flash blocker, too lazy to add that stuff to my phone. Polygon is ok but not really pc focused and I'm not a big fan of the webring that kotaku is a part of either, IGN and Gamespot seem too big as well jumping into all sorts of other things like tv etc Eurogamer seems almost like a nintendo fanboy site lol I end up using steam reviews to find more about games than anything and if the interest is there a yt scan. Idk any thoughts?

Dsogaming.com for PC gaming related news and the occasional performance analysis, just ignore the comments section.

Oh and the Digital Foundry section of Eurogamer for game tech analysis, and their YouTube channel.

I was sort of a fan of gamespot but in the last few years their reviews are subpar and very biased. Some marks don't make any sense.

To be honest, if you want to find out about a particular game, the best way to see actual content to help you decide is by following a reputable youtuber. I wouldn't put too much trust in any of the larger greed driven websites.

Yeah that's a factor too, paid for by advertising reviews that just don't match up with actual gameplay, JFO is the largest one of the recent games. And the landing pages try to be so clever about whole "articles" that are just advertisements that don't even refer to actually good values once researched and just hair raising junk like the gaming chair one today, wow why don't they just post a screenshot from matrix 1 already or idiocracy bating scene!

Edit forgot about the obvious fake reviews as well or paid for ones, sometimes on craigslist it even has ads for paid reviewers for amazon, can't imagine large game studios don't do the same.
