PC game similar to Adventure World on facebook.

Howdy all,

As stated in title I am looking for a game that is close to the same type of game play as Adventure World.

My mother started playing this game and it keeps asking her for five bucks here and ten bucks there for this or that. This game is advertised as free to play but there are things you can't do unless you pay money so I told her that I would try to find her a game that was similar.

It can't be to complicated since she is no gamer. Normally all she plays on the PC is Solitaire and Mahjong. This game just sucked her in though.

Any suggestions would be appreciated.

I personally use Facebook on a very rare/limited basis to keep in touch with some people who have no other means of communication, and I play Adventure World every once in a while if bored - surprisingly the game can be entertaining to a degree.
Adventure world was structured in a way that you can pretty much do whatever you want/need by having a large group of people/friends as 'neighbors'.
The 'money' is there to gauge those who don't like to wait.
You ask your neighbors for items you require (such as upgrading things and of course items for finishing quests).
It can take time until you get all the requested items (it depends on how active your neighbors are and whether they click on those requests... usually they do).

Just tell your mother to ignore the window with the cash and close it every time, and simply use the 'ask friends' option.
