EA must use some low quality CDs because both my Command and Conquer Red Alert 2 and my SimCity 3000 Unlimited discs have what look like stress cracks on them. They have a ton of cracks streaming out from the center "spindle hole" and they can no longer be read.
Is there anyway to get a copy of the games, such as any websites that have copies on their site? I bought both of them and have the serial numbers so I just need the data.

There is no legal way to acquire another CD, short of contacting EA and asking for a media replacement.

fyi- if the same weird thing happened to two of your cd's at about the same time, the culprit is most likely your cd drive and not the cd's...
so i would probably replace that ($20 or so for a dvd/cd read write drive on newegg) before putting more discs in there. -
What brand of cdrom is qsi ?
-
I've never even heard of that brand...
-
Where have you been storing these discs?
-
-
I'm pretty mad that these discs are ruined since I keep really good care of my games and I can't play them without the dsics. -
^ I meant, have you been storing them someplace where temperatures fluctuate, such as a garage, perhaps? I am wondering whether they have been cracked by high/low temperatures.

-
That is very strange; I've never heard of CDs simply cracking like that, especially in such normal conditions. :/
-
get an illegal copy, then use your own cd key. it's perfectly legal.

Rather than getting an illegal copy of the game, just go to the GameCopyWorld website, and get 'NO CD' fixes for the games you're having problems with
PC games CDs won't read, any solutions???
