Im looking for a few games that 2 people can play in a co-op mode, LAN is preferable but if it needs to be played over the internet then that's also do-able. Not really fussed about genre but I guess I tend to lean towards FPS, So far all I have it Counter-Strike: Source and Sins of a Solar Empire (has anyone played this over LAN? What's it like?)

So hit me with your best recommendations and thanks

Left 4 Dead (good game, but comes with a warning: it's under-supported and at it's end)

Overlord 2 has a co-op multiplayer mode where you survive waves and waves of enemies. It's not the most high profile game out there and may not be what you're looking for though.

It's not Fps, but Company of Heroe's Tales of Valor and Dawn of War 2 both have co-op survival modes. And I will second Left 4 Dead, it's probably my favourite game at the moment. The gameplay is just so good and addictive.

Hey thanks for all the suggestions
I managed to pick up Call of Duty: World at War, Left 4 Dead and the classic Worms Armageddon! I couldn't find Overlord 2 and I forgot to mention that I already own Company of Heroes
Gonna' fire them up in a bit!

Yeap, Waw is a lot of fun co-op wise, multi-player is good too.

Dow II is another of my favorites, I would suggest at least taking a look at it, I have not played too much in to the multi-player/co-op aspect of it, but I could see it being a lot of fun for sure.
