Well I purchased fallout 3 and unreal tournament 3 and battlefield 2 for my laptop which I will be getting on Thursday.

Fallout 3 and Unreal T3 both say PC-DVD on them

    Battlefield 2 says PC-CD.

Is there any difference and will I be able to play all of them on an asus g50vt a1?

A CD holds ~720mb of data and a DVD holds about 4.7gb of data. I don't see why you couldn't play them both on your laptop.

That there is one of the specs for the G50 (by the way, I am very envious, looking at my neat-but-ageing G1S). The "Multi" part means the DVD drive can read/write CDs and DVDs. You'd be very hard pressed to find a laptop, or even a new optical disk drive for a computer that doesn't let you read both CDs and DVDs.

    It should... mine works...

Just give it a shot, if it doesn't work post here and/or search a bit on google. There's always a solution for vista incompatibilities :)...
