So i'm browsing xotic PC and came across the sager NP8130 with a
-nVidia GeForce GTX 560M 1,536MB PCI-Express GDDR5 DX11
And, excuse my noobishness, am wondering if this "PCI express slot" factor makes it a different model than other 1.5 gb GTX560M cards?

No, it's pretty much the same. I don't know why they label that instead of MXM
-
And is this still a dedicated GPU?
Thanks for the help -
MXM is a physical connector and PCI Express is the electric connection type.
-
Lol, it's the same card. PCI-Express is the interface, and MXM is a standard that uses PCI-Express.
-
PCI-Express cards have been around for like 7 years

MXM is referred to upgradable dedicated MOBILE gpu. Regular PCI-E is referred to desktop cards. Difference, yes, desktop vs laptop. Other than that a GTX 560m is the same but you have to find the memory bandwidth, I heard there are a few variation of this mobile card
PCI Express video cards?
