Hi, does the PCI Express on my laptop basically mean the graphic card? And on the power option, it says

    -PCI Express
    -Link State Power Management
    On Battery: Maximum power savings
    Plugged In: Moderate power savings

Does this basically mean when its at moderate power savings, my computer/ game would run smoother than on maximum power savings? And would it be better afterall if I just turned it off? How does it even save power on the PCI Express?

Your PCI-Express video card is connected via up to 16 (data?) lanes. For power savings, some lanes can be closed to reduce power consumption, but I don't know by how much.

I've never searched this stuff up, so I could be completely wrong.. and correct me if I am..
