Anyone with a HD 2006 equipped laptop playing PES 2008?

What kind of performance are you getting at high settings?

I have a toshiba a-200 with hd 2600 and pes 2008...very smooth with less players heavy drop down in penalty kick and corners and in replays.
It's simply unplayable(for me,some fanatic pes 2008 friends can buy even garbage from konami),but i read that even some players with 8800gt has some problem with speed of this game...
Consider it has'n that awesome graphics i think it's badly optimized but overall the biggest problem is the opposite...pes 2008 is a backstep in pes simulation series...player's speed is unreal and seems to play to pro evolution pinball 2008.
I mean 2 passages and you are in front of goalkeeper...and i can't tell you problems about multiplayer cos are funny...players disappear and appear over 5 meters, balls from you feet is on another player's feet...

The game does have its problems but I still need my PES fix :)

Do you run the game on high settings? At what resolution?

The demo is running fine at medium on my current desktop PC (P4 3GHz/Radeon 9800 Pro) but I'm still unsure what it takes to run the game well (60 fps) at high settings. It's the only game I care about so it's a big issue for me :)

Running it at 1680x1050 (with this resolution patch) at high details perfectly. My specs are in the sig!

That's great to know. Have you checked the framerate with FRAPS by any chance?
