Yeah Konami made a big booboo with this one. Lots of people have lots of problems mainly because it's very badly optimized. They did admit the replays and cutscenes frame drop is their fault, and they did release a patch to ehem "resolve some the online and offline issues", but other than re-adjusting the speed of the power bar (when you shoot) there's no real difference.

The game is awesome, but it really let me down with all the problems and stuff. Here's the patch if you haven't installed already:

    Cheers! :D

    Yeah what about this interview:

"PES 2009 is in development, but after hearing the criticism, we'll be taking it back to the drawing board. It might not be next year, but it will be soon", Takatsuka concluded.

And I bet it's the same story with the PC version :)

    Hi Guys,
I had the same problem with my pes2008 game as well, game works amazing but the replays used to work with horrible frame rates... However, i found a SOLUTION to the problem... you need to uninstall k-lite mega codecs. I'm sure 99.99% of the guys out there facing the replay bug have k-lite installed. Remove it and the replays will play as smooth as the game itself. It also starts the intro video, which in my case, didnt work earlier. Hope this solves the problem... Cheers... lemme know wat u guys think of this...
