Okay, this question seems to be asked everywhere, but no one seems to be giving the solution I need. Here goes:

I have the dell xps 1530 with the avermedia hybrid nano expresscard.

I plug in the card, install the latest drivers for it, then plug in the ps2 using the composite entries (red, yellow, white).

    Now what?

When I turn the ps2 on, nothing appears on the laptop screen, I'm still on my desktop.

I suppose I need someone kind of software, but which one and where do I get it?

    Thank you in advance

depending on your version of Vista, you might have Media Center. Go in there, Recorded TV -> Setup TV -> config the settings. You need this to display the capture stream from your PS2.

since your using a desktop , why not just plug the ps2 directly into the monitor?
