Ive just installed Pacific Fighters in my new Acer 5920. Im running at 1024x768, no AA no AF, and everything to max. Even when im alone (just my plane) in the middle of the ocean i get no more than 18fps.
Is this normal??![]()
Ive got drives 163.44, and a CORE 2 DUO T7300 with 2gigs of ram...

might be the game, not sure, never played, maybe it's just incompatible with vista?
-
There is some games, such as oblivion, that performs horribly on Vista. bThis one might be the case.
-
Pacific Fighters does not play well with Vista for some reason. Don't blame Ubisoft, blame Microsoft. Main reason I'm sticking with XP. Too many incompatabilities, driver issues, and general stability problems, especially with XP apps, which is like, 100% of what I have.
-
but people are playing Pacific Fighters on vista without problems!
-
Did you try running the game in compatibility mode for Win XP or earlier?
-
yes, but no luck
BTW, i have installed LOCK ON, and when i set shadows to medium quality, they are ok; but when i set them to high quality, they are just plain, an the aircraft appear in a very matte colour with a white border all over the outside of the shape.
WTF is happening with these "breathtaking" graphics card?
please help me -
maybe u need to patch it?.. farcry needs a patch before it can run on vista
-
Sometimes when things like this happen, it's time to move onto a new game
. Or just set up a 4 gig partition and dual boot in XP for better gaming performance.
Pacific Fighters on 8600GT!
