Hey all I was wondering about this tip that I recently received. Somebody told me this speeds up packets or something and in return lowers ping or latency in MMORPG style games online. This is what he wrote and I was wondering what you all thought about it:

Will there really be any gain from this, even the smallest bit?

Anyone have any clue or done anything like this before? If not I will do this myself later tonight since I just made a back up disk and files for all and I will do a report on how it works.
