Pefect World MMORPG

Hey guys have anyone here tested out the Chinese MMORPG "perfect world"
It is the chinese answer to WOW but with better graphics and more features and higher lvl caps etc. You are also able to fight on mounts (ground and flying).
You can own your own house and so many cool things, the game is bigger and better than WOW ever will be. he best part is that its free so i recmmend that u check it out. take a look at the pics!

Those graphics look much worse than WoW. Free MMORPGs always suck...

 

I mean, gameplay and stuff. But it looks too much like WoW to me. don't like wow.

 

Eh... theres about 100 free MMO's being developed right now...
I doubt any more than 1 of them will be any good. There really aren't any good free MMO's out right now. I've tried several, never impressed when compared to WoW.
Though, I would like to see something new...

I can't remember if it was this game, or one of the others, which had some extremely impressive graphics. I'm talking Oblivion as an MMO. But free servers will never be able to handle the traffic and data crunching required to play something that intense.

WoW's graphics are really good. Most people, for some reason, think they should look realistic. Not sure why. It's supposed to be cartoonish. Some people don't understand art style

 

What's the story? Also good MMOs usually look epic... that did not look epic lol...

 

On high settings wow looks fantastic, that looks identical or worse.

 

well its a great MMO and yeah mostly free mmo sucks, itried about 30 of em and hated em but this one omg its so good. I played WOW for a long time and quitted when because of this beautiful game. the graphics in game is like HL2 and Oblivion.

The gameplay is also very free you can do anything and it is quest based so there is NO gridning! There are good quests just like WOW, i mean the game is very muh like WOW but with more realistic graphic, more features and a bigger and more free world

 

That would be great if WoW's quests were good (except for endgame).

 

Everything about this mmo is perfect, the controls are also like WOW so u move with w,a,s,d etc.

There are also a good story to the game and later realm vs realm will be possible.

Another cool consept about the game is that the world is owned by players (guilds) and guilds have to fight ecah other to gain bigger land etc. Soon they will add more features as well. The NPC things u can do is also endless, like beauty contest and player customization is crazy! so many mini games and features ive never seen before

 

dunno how you can say that, it has some very fun and creative quests. And some damn good story lines in there.

For the most part, the end game has the worst quests.

 

yup i agree that WOW has the best mmorpg quests ever created, Perfect world is almost just as good on the quest line though

 

What strikes me is. I assume you are not playing on the laptop with the specs in your sig right?

 

Wow... I just tried to go to their website. Bit slow (yeah, I realize it's in Asia) and some of the links don't work.

Maybe once they get some US servers (it looks like the two main servers are physically in asia) I'd give it a try.

 

i am playing on my desktop so i am able o run both games will full details and Perfect World beats WOW. Especially the water and the reflections its just like hl2 and oblivion. Really high end graphics for a totally free mmo

 

yeah u should test i i know many Americans who play as well. The game has just endles of possibilities an the fact that you can fly and fight in the sky is really cool. Give it a try u will love it. The skill tree is also great and there are very many breathtaking skills at higher levels.

There are also over 30 different mounts lol, beats WOW

 

I thought this would be a thread about what an MMORPG in a perfect world would be.

 

The graphics in LOTRO blow every other MMORPG away, especailly thanks to the new DX10 patch.



I've really got to try the trial of LOTRO. Anyone know if it's any good?

 

Most disapointing game ever. I mean, wow. LOTRO was TERRIBLE. The elves... oh god. I wanted to slash my wrists after hearing them for 30 seconds.

No one I know who tried it became a fan. Most of us went and got our accounts banned for screwing around lol.

 

yeah that game was lame, but the graphics are good
