Its pretty funny, lol. -
That is FANTASTIC!!! Wow...LOL. "Boring Boring Boring"
-
Wonder if I should wait for my laptop with GTX 485m to play it?
-
-
EDIT : NINJA'd -
Why does this need 8GB? I don't understand. Is that a joke or something?
Wait. The folder is .5GB. Now I'm even more confused. -
It's a joke
-
Haha this is the best, the campaign length reminds me of BO
Its pretty funny stuff. -
Just played it... GOTY for sure. "Boring, Boring..." "AUCH", "Now I die dramatically and you kill him in slow mo"
ROFLMAO, I vote for GOTY!!! -

Hey, bunny hoping across the map actually sounds quite fun. My fav part was the USA flags at the end
Could have been better though... (ideas passing through mind on how to make fun of the COD series gameplay)
-
That was hilarious, I like the ridiculous amount of vehicles on all sides that make the map incredibly linear, just like COD single player missions. The lack of being able to jump over anything is also very COD-ey (and console-ey in general); in fact most of the time the only reason to jump is when it specific prompts you to, like going though a window (press <control> to climb through window)... No crouch jumping necessary in call of duty games...

It was actually pretty entertaining. Made me wanna get Bulletstorm too.
I did a quick playthrough (with Commentary) for fun:
YouTube - Duty Calls Playthrough (with Commentary // Free Download) -
with this parody iam now intrigued of what they will do in MW 3...
-
I tried the bulletstorm Xbox 360 demo a little, it is primarily completely over the top combat with ridiculous amounts of gore and rebar (which enemies seem to like getting impaled upon). However, it has literally nothing to do with call of duty in terms of really anything (except that it is also an FPS), so I'm not sure why they targeted it with their demo-replacement. It is really more of an unreal tournament type game (which makes sense, since it uses the unreal engine).
-
i think some of the guys really missed the essence of call of duty series, COD is about warfare and soldiers, mission based and the likes, MW2 is closest in our present armed warfare as dated today, so you care less about kicking and guns that do giants, but COD games are made and was based in warfare reality which actually happened WW2 and modern war these days. so its really inappropriate to mock COD, granted there's a laugh, but COD does stand out yet a little disappointing, but does not deserve to be mistaken like parodies like this one.
-
The gear they used maybe, the fight? Hell no, not even close. Modern warfare series resemble closer to hollywood action movie if anything.

Second, lol. CoD is not realistic. If you went up to someone who has really been on the front lines and said that you know what it was like out there because you played CoD, you'd get the dirtiest, angriest look you've ever had directed at you, and that's if you're lucky enough not to be talking it someone aggressive. You calling CoD "warfare reality" is probably 1000x more offensive than this parody could ever hope to be. -
was BASED....*sigh* oh dear...
read man, realistic meaning WW2 and modern warfare conflict actually happened, that was the theme of COD series (although take out MW series) based...WW2 happened..reality...based...
what the point of releasing a playable parody and advertising their game at the same time? nothing of course.
wow...i knew it... -
Reaversedge, nothing about COD resembles real life, other than maybe the weapons. But being shot and then just duck and covering to revive is not realistic, also the campaigns are horribly unrealistic and linear, non of those historic events their based off of went down the way they showed. Regardless I understand what you meant by your post but your completely off base. EA through this jab because this is what almost all gamers think of COD, just a repeat of their last game. Its a joke on activision nothing more. By doing this , their saying "hey cod is the same old same old and we just made a parody demo in a short amount of time, but look at bulletstorm its new, creative over the top fun, try it out!", its a knock on the game, not the content
-
'but COD games are made and was based in warfare reality which actually happened WW2 and modern war these days'
i said the 'warfare reality' part because world war 2 happened in real life, and this 'warfare reality' does not have anything to do with the gameplay or whatsoever ludacris. in 'modern war' i only imply the modern weapons used. no more.
it is just a game, its only logic nothing on it is real, you do headshots and bodyshots of course the enemy is still standing and can shoot, that is how game mechanics are. you can't just miraculously heal from being shot a few times eh. and yes ANY game franchise like that you will be bored like me. totally. i would be trying out Bulletstorm for sure.
Maybe i was trying to say in another view, what you see in Bulletstorm, you will never see it in COD series, COD is already meant to be like that deal with it. COD won't have the same or innovated gameplay it can develop or may develop in the future, maybe in MW3 it will still be the same mechanics, but the essence of (warfare reality which i explained earlier) will still be there. -

Brilliant, shame it wasn't a little longer.
-
-
That was a pretty funny video. Almost as long as COD.
-
It's how they use the same generic formula:
"Hey pay $60 for this history movie/game where you get to shoot people and move in this linear pathway but have absolutely no real control over anything, oh btw you're actually paying for this rehashed multiplayer mode that has a few new guns and maps compared to the previous $60 installment, thanks for you money. We're using 1% of it to make another rehash of the CoD series." -
Now, all we need are zombies that can jump at you and say:
"I am a zombie rurrrrrrrrr, I have this bloody and eerie look that will scare kids away. Oh no, you activated the slow mo! Oh no you have managed points to buy a new shotgun! Oh no! I broke through your wall!"
"Oh no!"
People Can Fly's CoD parody called Duty Calls! CoD got CoDownd!
