Can someone give me a benchmark or tell me what settings they run fear at, and how many frames you get with those settings?

i max out the settings and shadows, and get 40-60 fps at 1440x900.

i dont use anti aliasing though. its basically a trade off- either shadows or aliasing but not both if you want 40+ fps. in my opinion, the heavy shadows in games like FEAR add a lot to the game, plus they mask the aliasing pretty well anyway. honestly a good shadow gets rid of aa just as good as aa does. might as well take shadows over anti aliasing imo. it depends on the game, but it works really well in FEAR and DOOM 3 and other dark games with heavy shadowing.

edit: you could probably sneak by with 2x aa with minimal performance loss, i can't check it because i just destroyed my windows partition with a bad driver and now i can't boot into windows for more than 2 seconds without it freezing...
