    Guys,

Do you know this card ? Does someone actually have it and did some benchmarks ? Would like to get some feedbacks about it because I'm about to purchase it.

    Thanks

you mean AMD 6970 2gig card right?

It is a solid card. When overclocked, it will come close to a stock 6990m. Just FYI, my 6990m will play all modern games at native 1080p with good graphical settings. I'm currently playing Crysis 2 on Ultra DX11 setting

@SlickDude80 you mean AMD 6970 2gig card right?

I meant AMD ATI Radeon HD6970M 1GB !!! I know the 6970M 2GB is quite good, O/Ced it's quite similar to a 6990M but I never heard about the 1GB and after some googling, I found that it was supplied in some macbook. I can buy itbut don't know about the quality/perf of this card.

    Anyone has this card ?

    Thx

i didn't even know they made a 1 gig version of that card. Yea, i just googled it too and its for mac.

What laptop do you have? Will it be compatible if it comes from a MAC? The compatibility would be my greatest concern.

Performance wise, even with 1 gig, it should still be a potent card

I think its for iMacs, no way Apple would cram a HD 6970m in a regular MacBook Pro.
How would they be able to keep it cool?

Then the other question i have is does this MAC version 6970 run at the same speeds?

To the OP, is GPU core running @ 680 MHz and is the memory DDR5 @ 900 MHz?

If its a cutdown version of the card, it will definitely affect performance

Edit: he took out the GPU from his iMac :( Dont think I will run this card onto my MSI barebone then :(
