i used to get 7900+ with my notebook on drivers 167.73 and 174.74. Then a couple of days ago i swticed to 175.12 and i get less than 7500. i ran it multiple times but still the same low score about 500 points less. then i changed to 175.75 but still same low score. then i cahnged back to my old 174.74 and 167.73 rivers but i still get less abt 500 less than what i used to get b4. I ran driver sweeper and all adn am in High Performance mode and all

500 points is barely a 6% loss . . . and this is only according to 3DMark06, which is a synthetic benchmark that means little. I doubt your gaming performance is reduced, and that's all that really matters. I wouldn't worry about this.

Check if AA or AF is forced in the control panel. That will lower your scores if they're enabled.

If you are seriously worried about points, after reboot, ctrl+alt+delete and turn off EVERY extra process possible. EVERYTHING, then try running it. That should fix your 3dmark06 loss. Also upgrade to 175.75, it ran the best with my 8800GTS non o/c'd
