One of my top 5 favourite game series of all time. I'm really looking forward to this game!!! I used to play PSO on the Dreamcast endlessly (oh the memories).
This was the first game I've ever played online via consoles and it was when dial up was the only form of internet available, if I'm not mistaken (gawd, now I feel old, even though I'm in my late 20's).
Anyone else looking forward to this beauty?

PSO is up there with Sonic Adventure 2 and Mass Effect 2 as my favourite games of all time. -

I loved PSO had all of them (even more than one copy of some of them). I got very upset with Sega though when they banned my PSO: Universe account because apparently I had a illegitimate item somebody sold me.
They didnt let me defend myself or investigate at all it was a clean cut ban.
If that didnt upset me enough, about a year ago I thought I would look into the game again, log into my sega account and see everything "ok" I pay for my license and everything with no red tape, then I go to log into the game and get an error.
Looked up the error and see it means "banned" so they took my money and said my account was in good standing but still had me banned after like 3 or 4 years.
I tried to contact them in every way possible and not once did I get an answer or a refund for that new license.
Due to how they wronged me I dont know if I can ever get over it and play PSO anymore even though it was the game I spent more time on than any other with maybe exception of WoW.
Sega has no customer support anymore, its just an identity floating in cyberspace to consume your money. Games like MMO thats too much of a risk for me when you cant get any assistance with an account and after they added insult to injury like they did to me it was the last straw. -
I loved this game when I was younger, it was such fun on the GameCube (I never had a Dreamcast). I wonder if it will hold up to the test of time (and all these other MMORPGs).

I played this on Xbox, it sucked something fierce. Enemies were repetitive, same goes for attacks/abilities, and environments. In fact I only got it because the disk contained a bug that allowed a softmod at the time. Maybe it just didn't port well to Xbox...

I had a similar issue with EA (Bad Company 2) and I had to QQ up a storm just to get my account recovered (after 1.5 months) b/c a Chinese hacker spammed his malicious websites using my account.
I never had an issue with Sega (and hope I never do b/c it sounds awful).
I think I'm in the same boat as you for time investment. WoW taking the lead, even though I barely played WotLK b/c it was faceroll easymode.
I've been listening to PSO music on YT all night to get me in the mood for PSO 2 lol.
