i wonder if the nvidia physx software is also compatible with nvidia mobile GPUs?
and which driver is compatible with the software?
thanks in advance![]()

Not yours unfortunately, not yet anyway. So far the PhysX drivers work only for the current top of the line Nvidia GPUs like the GTX280.
-
The geforce 8s are based on the cuda architecture and it will support it eventially when NVIDIA releases support for it. They are doing it in a teired basis with the gtxs first, then 9s, then maybe 8.

oh...thx for the information
i appreciate it -
How much extra space does the PhysX hardware take?
-
-
That's nice considering that for the desktop it was a seperate card.
-
-
That is a large notebook though, so I'm not surprised that it can fit it. Man I'm just drooling at your M1730....mmmm...8800 SLI....

what games other than crysis actually utilize the phys x card?
-
I believe Rainbow Six, UT3, there are some others. (Crysis uses it's own Physics system)
-
I know that Ghost Recon Advanced Warfighter 1 & 2 use it.
-
So I guess the TC games in general...
