I recdently installed the latest official Catalyst drivers :
    AMD Catalyst™ Display Driver for Windows Vista/Windows 7 64-bit
I ran a few tests and had good scores- settings for core/mem were 970/1560. However after I cranked up the core clock (to 980Mhz), the test crashed. No problem. I pegged the clock back to a reasonable level (970) and re-rean. However this time I noticed my physx score was lower(22fps) than the usual(24fps). I re-ran the test several times to see if it was just a glitch, but alas still 22fps. Somehow I have lost 2fps!

I tried uninstalling all the AMD drivers (and intel) and starting with the original drivers from Clevo. Still 22fps.

    Any ideas?

Yep I tried that with no success.
I ended up reinstalling windows from scratch and now have installed the latest AMD drivers.
I then installed throttlestop and increased the TRL to 38 ( btw I think the Ivy bridge is capped at 38x multiplier as I can't see more than that on benching)
