I have XPS M1730 with 88m sli and physx.
Last week, I installed vista 64 bit and was not able to install ageia physx.I again reinstalled vista 32 bit but I am not being able to install it. After I install the driver, and when I open the Nvidia Physx, it says "No Ageia Physx Processor Installed".
Help me out with that plz.
    Thanks

    Alright mate,

First of all uninstall the current drivers what you have installed. Run a program called Driver Sweeper in safe mode and delete and AGIEA drivers with that. Also run a registry cleaner ( I use ccleaner, very good). You should have now no trace of any old drivers on your computer.
Restart your computer, install your drivers (remember you will need 8.09.04 and then the latest drivers, this for runtime.) and go to Nvidia Physx Properties. Reset your card and all should work fine. (It probably wont so, follow the next step)

What you need to do is go into device manager (in control panel) and at the top you will see AGIEA Physx Adapters, open that and disable and then re-enable it. You will find the computer will probably freeze. Restart you computer and then check Physx Properties again. Should be all good now.

    Regards Jim

As far as I'm aware there is "No Ageia PhysX Processeor" installed? You are using "Nvidia Geforce PhysX" which should be set in the "settings tab" of the Nvidia PhysX panel.

You shouldn't see "Ageia" options available unless you have a Ageia PPU.

I have ageia physx in xps m1730. Even if I select Geforce Physx,it should show like "Physx X100 series". But it does not.
Thats why I was worried. Even I dont know if I can see physx card detected in BIOS if possible?

    hey benson881,
I had a fresh install of Windows Vista 32 bit changing from 64 bit.
I formatted the hard drive so basically there should be nothing in the drive. And about resetting the physx card, if I cannot select Ageia physx then how can I reset physx card? Because it says no Physx card installed.
    Thanks

Install 8.09.04 drivers and then check in device manager and see if your card is there.

We'll try and take from there.
