    HI,

since i wanna wait the most i can before buying the gold laptop :D , i would like to play a game that will keep me distracted... since i love sailing, i decided taking on Pirates of the Caribbean, but... the problem is that i dunno how will it run on my current lappy (Pentiu IV 2.8ghz, 512mb, Intel 82852 wiht 64mb) how about it? has anybody tried PIRATES OF THE CARIBBEAN (the old one, not Deads man chest) on any intel graphics???

Doesn't it have a demo? If it does, you can download it and see if it works, can't you?

The part I bolded is your problem. The Intel Extreme Graphics chip is why you can hardly play any 3D games. Quake 3 would run, but anything more demanding than that and your system is going to crawl. So basically anything made in the last 3-4, possibly 5 years isn't going to run on your system.

To be honest, you could probably have a lot of fun playing with some 2D games, try looking for some of those. You can get poker, Texas Hold 'em, and other types of games, not just cards.

You might consider upgrading the RAM on that laptop to get some increased performance.
