So I've been having a bit of a look around, and the .ini files seem to have a fair bit of room for tampering.

What I'm really interested in it the "MaxPlayers" value (WillowGame.ini). I changed it to 6, and actually got a fifth player to join my game online. I don't know whether he actually spawned or not, but the game crashed shortly after.

Anyone else want to give it a shot (online, or in LAN if you have enough people closeby) and tell me what you find, and whether you can get it to work?

Usual rules apply - backup the file before you go messing around with it etc.

Never mind, apparently it's been tried a bunch of times.

Ok, what about the difficulty setting?

What about transferring my save file from my desktop to my laptop so that I can play lan with myself? :p

You play with yourself plenty already, clearly =P (jk)

In all seriousness, savegames are in Documents/My Games/Borderlands or whatever, no reason why you couldn't XD

I found that if you change the line "bDemiGodMode=false" to true, your health never goes below 1, so you can't die :D Comes in handy when you're in tricky situation.
