    Hi NBR.

I just finished Mass Effect 3 which was perfect until the ending ( It sucks even after the Extended Cut dlc ) . I searched for similar games but I can't find something near to Mass Effect blend. I'm thinking of playing Mass Effect 2. What do you think ?

    Thanks in advance :)

I personally loved mass effect 2 the best in the series so I think you should really consider investing and playing ME2.

ME3 had better combat controls and more variety in weaponry, but ME2 was the better game as a whole. Better story, better characters, better atmosphere, and muuuuuuch better finale. And ME2 had proper, honest-to-goodness boss fights! Particularly if you get some of the DLC, such as "Lair of the Shadow Broker" and "Overlord," both of which are worth every penny and then some.

Mass Effect 2 is the best in the series, IMO. An excellent game.

But what makes it so good is its main plot and side quests. Playing it after watching the horrible ME3 ending kinda ruins it, especially if you haven't played it before.

But hey, better late than never - go on ahead and play this masterpiece of a game.

I would play the 1st one 1st, it has the best story in the trilogy, despite the combat system leaving a lot to be desired.
