Since games like Warcraft III and Starcraft doesn't have widescreen support, does anyone know how to make it run on a widescreen monitor in a standard 4:3 ratio so it doesn't stretch to widescreen.

So far all I've been able to do is try playing in window mode which is terrible for RTS.

Is there anyway to have it maximized but not stretched?

    I'm using a Dell Inspiron 1520.

There should be a setting in your graphics driver to stop it from stretching the display. In my ATI graphics driver settings, I have to set the scaling options to "Preserve Aspect Ratio".

Do you have the nvidia control panel installed?
If so, make sure you have the following option selected:

I don't play either Warcraft or Starcraft, so I'm not 100% sure if this will work or not, but it works on all other games I own.

For nVidia graphics cards, go to Control Panel, and then nVidia Control Panel, and in the settings, select " Use nVidia scaling".
