I think you did good. That should keep you busy until the X-Mas sale.

I had a much smaller inventory.

Hydrophobia - $3 (actually bought 1 day before Summer Sale, regret purchase).
    Borderlands GOTY - $7.50
    Bioshock 1 - $5
    Torchlight - $3
Alien Breed 2 - FREE (redeemable game)
TF2 - FREE (F2P didn;t install until Summer Sale so counts for me).
    Fallout: New Vegas - $15

Total: $33.50 + TAX (WA resident).

    So not too shabby

    All I picked up was:

    Assassins Creed - 6.79
    Assassins Creed: Brotherhood - 19.99
    Beat Hazard Complete - ~3.50

I still have several games from christmas I haven't touched. I already beat both assassins creed games I bought though... lol.

It's good to be conservative with your purchases. I bought more games than I had intended, and still didn't buy everything I wanted. Every time I want to buy something, I go for a 30 min jog and think about it. 90% of the time when I get back, I ended up NOT buying it, go figure.

Gotta control the urges. My name is alexmuw and I'm a Steam addict :(

Like to hear people opinion... ;) ;) :) :D

OMG I went to bestbuy and I was looking at the price of all the games I bought and I wanted to faint. Bought me back form some PTSD from buying games at retail price, and not knowing about Steam earlier.

    Borderland GOTY was $50....WOW

If I were to buy all these games at Best-buy, it would cost $1000 +++ Yike!!!

Considering that this amount of money would've get you like no more than 4 (discounted) games on the 360/PS3... it think it was awesome!! Enjoy them and have plenty 'till the end of the year :D

Yep, I am the same. Normally even if tempting I have a priority list of games I'd like to buy if they're on discount; and I never go for the packs (too many games which I have not the least interest to play and/or games I already have). This time I got only the GTA IV deal (and bioshock 2 on gamersgate two days before the sale started).
