When do you all think that Supreme Commander will be able to be played with all the eye candy? Here is a caveat....When it can be played on your lap without causing even 1st degree burns?

I'm sure there's a Sager or Clevo out there that can handle SupCom on max or near max resolutions.

They will not cause 1st degree burns when placed on your lap. It may get pretty uncomfortable though, especially if you don't wear pants.

I am playing the demo at 1920x1200 with the options maxed and shadows off for a stable 20fps, more than playable for a RTS. this is on a go 7900gs. however in a few weeks the DX10 eye candy will be released in a patch for people running VISTA and a 8000 series card. right now its my CPU holding me back. I have a CD T2400 @1.83GHz and its maxed on core 1 and 40%-70% on core 2.

I dunno about you, but gaming without pants is the only way to play...

    I kid, I kid ;) But I'd agree.
