Portal 2 finally on sale

sure, we have a steam sales thread, but this is too important for that: (that being said...this will probably get moved....)

anywho, for all of you morons who are exactly like me, portal 2 is finally on a 50% off sale. you can pick it up like i just did for 14.99 on steam!

 

portal 2 is less than 6 months old.

"finally" on sale? just be glad you weren't waiting for an activision game to go on sale. you'd be waiting for over a year at minimum.

Portal 2 is priced well (now). $50 on release was a tad pricey for what it is, I picked it for $30 literally weeks later on amazon. That seemed fair. $15 is good.

 

man for 15dollars, this game is a must if you havnt played it. me and my friend both bought it for 50 and thought it was a pretty decent purchase unlike brink lolol

 

Also should note the Portal + Portal 2 bundle is 17.49. Both games are worth playing. The first game is darker and moodier.

 

How is the single player, or can it even be played single player? I ask since I end up gaming offline quite a bit.

 

finally - as in its valve, they have thier games on sale very quickly. and yeah, i totally get it about activision - i just picked up cod 4 about a month ago when it was at a reasonable price for a 4 year old game - 10 bucks.

 

less than 6 months out is pretty quick. One month out you could find it for $30. How much faster to the $15 mark did you expect?

 

Single player is fantastic. Not a super long campaign, but very enjoyable. The SDK has been out for a bit, and I think there might already be community mods and levels showing up.

 

I still haven't done co-op.

What ever happened to the DLC we were promised like almost right after release...

Its a good game worth $15 for sure... for single player. However co-op is severely lacking it needs more stages and more to do.

The old Portal 1 challenge mode needs to be added back fast if they want any prolonged replay for the game, as a Avid portal fan who pre-ordered this game I only played it for a bit over a week before it got uninstalled and never touched again.

BTW I have an extra copy of the game... I think I may have to do some sort of give away

 

Probably still gonna wait for it, till it'll be like 5 Euros . I enjoyed the first Portal, but playing the second one isn't that critical for me. Sure I want to play it, but I got other things to do . Probably gonna grab it on Christmas/Summer sale though. Along with L2D4 (again *sigh*). Somehow re-watching "Zombieland" got me an urge to kill some ************* zombies ...

 

I bought it at $30, but I still haven't gotten through it. It hasn't grabbed my attention like the original did. Looking forward to playing the co-op, though.

Portal 2: Peer Review follows the story of the two co-op bots, P-Body and Atlas, through a new test track devised by GLaDOS. The DLC includes single-player and challenge modes too, as well a new community leaderboards incorporating the DLC.

Ahh installing game now then, time to revive portal 2 and do a co-op video series

Now I need to hunt down StarForge he is who did most of the old co-op with me.

gonna play the new content this weekend at my friends house. its fun to troll each other, sometimes it isnt even on purpose.

 

Just beat it, took 1.5 hours to beat it blind.
