    hey guys,

i want to play portal, but every time i enter a portal, the game crashes. im thinking its my video card not having enough RAM. its only got 64mb RAM of system video memory compared to 192mb of shared system memory. is it possible to allocate more to the video side?

or has anyone encountered this problem in portal before?

    thanks

Try turning down the texture quality and/or the portal rendering depth.

64 mb of dedicated VRAM should be enough. Are you using up to date drivers? And yes, what are the specs of your notebook?

EDIT: Oops, I saw you listed the specs. Try updating drivers.
