My notebook has been running very good for the past 6 months, but a new trend in the past couple of days has me worried.

Skyrim's compass is messed up, and my computer's drivers crash constantly in a loop whenever I enter a menu. I have to physically close Skyrim with Task manager.

Planetside 2 doesn't even give that much. It runs for about a minute then Blue Screens, when previously I could play for hours at a time without worrying.

Some low load games still seem to be fine however.

I have tried reinstalling drivers, going back to old drivers, clean installing drivers, turning off AMD Overdrive. None of these things have had any effect. I figured I should try to ask here before I send it off to have Sager look at it.

maybe try running some benchmarks to see if the same thing happens? if it runs fine for benchmark, try installing windows again. also test your hard drive

If Skyrim has a messed up compass, it means you're using drivers from either 12.6/12.7 family.
    Download this driver: http://www.mediafire.com/?1i1dja7mez7xb3a
Uninstall your previous set, be sure you used the "clean" method as I described in the guide in my signature (it involves using driver sweeper in safe mode).
Once you done install the driver,be sure to check every option in the installer/customize installation.
Apply the windows/amd tweaks I listed in my guide as well (unpark CPU and ULPS disabling).
Try to see if you see any improvements.
If you have Skyrim in steam also try to run a check on game files to see if any of them are corrupted.
    Let us know.
