I'm only going to play older games like starcraft, warcraft 3 and other, not very graphically demanding games.
is that possible with any of these:
Intel GMA900
Intel GMA950
Nvidia GeForce Go6150
ATI Radeon Xpress 200M
ATI Radeon Xpress 1150
?

yea. they should all run it. Warcraft3 might start choking.
At least my friend's does when I swarm his bases. if you ask me, I think its an excuse.... -
Yeah. I'd stay away from the Intel chips. Horrid 3D drivers. The ATI/Nvidia integrated chips should have enough horsepower to play your games though.

As posted above, the Go6150/X200M/X1150 are much better than the Intel integrated solutions. -
Yeah the 200m should handle those games with aplomb. I would try to get as much ram as possible to help with performance during gameplay. Then set it to 128mb and game on.

i have played all the games u just mentioned on the GMA 900 u are to play them perfectly well, warcraft 3 might clock very rare

i can play all those games on my 200m and bfme 2 on medium settings so you look kinda like an rts player but just to let you know it can handle bfme 2 on medium settings but can't go smooth after that starts to get real choppy

i've played starcraft and age of empires 2 with an integrated 950 without any problems...i have a 1.6 ghz core duo and 1 gb ram. i haven't played starcraft much but didn't have any problems when i did, and haven't had any problems with aoe 2 which i played a fair amount so far.

it's a good game, and he did ask about older rts games....
-
Warcraft 3 WILL run perfect on all of them, considering I was playing battle.net with the bottom of the barrel... Mirage 2!
-
The ATI and Nvidia will kick the GMA's As* anytime. Getting the latest ATI X1100 is smart move. (But beware that it only comes with AMD solutions PC).
Possible to game with integrated?
