Hi I just got an Acer AS5740G-6979 that has an ATI 5650 card, and I've seen some weird things. First, when I was browsing NBR forums in Chrome and I would all of a sudden see red/pink dots on random parts of my screen. They'd go away after I click on the taskbar for some reason. And then after I installed TF2 I played it for a few minutes, no problems but then the next time I started it up I'd get a flash of the weird red/pink dots and then the screen would go black. So I hit the ALT+Tab and then re-entered the main menu and there were no problems! BTW I have Catalyst 10.3

Anyone have any ideas on what the problem may be?

correction , check your temperature using CPUID Hardware monitor and post a screenshot... after gaming for a while and idle temps.
