    Hey guys, please post your CPU+GPU fan profiles for those demanding games :)
    Looking for ideas and acceptable temps too.

    20c->29c slow slow
    29c->35c fast slow
    35c->44c fast fast
    44c->80c no change no change

    I use this profile for everything idle cpu 24c gpu 48c load cpu 38c gpu 61c.

    CPU: the standard
    38c<-45c slow off
    45c<-55c slow slow
    55c<-65c slow fast
    65c<-75c fast fast

    GPU: my own (OC: 450/1100)
    55c<-58c off slow
    58c<-68c slow slow
    68c<-75c slow fast
    75c<-80c fast fast

    idle: CPU: 38°c, GPU: 56°C -- load: CPU: 55°C MAX, GPU: 70°C MAX

    if the fans are off / slow, it doesn't take that much battery...
    what i mean by max, is that during gaming, my cpu & gpu rise, untill the next fase kicks in (fase 3) then go back to fase 2, and again and again... My 9400 has yet to use BOTH fans on high to keep it cool.., The 2nd fan on high has been enough so far ;)

    I've enabled cpu and gpu temperatures and for some reason sometimes fan 1 changes from slow to fast to slow every 2 seconds so I seperated them: CPU gets fan 1 GPU gets fan 2...

    I guess that Fan 1 is intended for CPU and Fan 2 for GPU...

    about your prob: Maybe you have conficting configs? or that the slow just can't stop temperature from rising, so nexxt step kicks in at fast, 2 seconds later the previous step is in

    Just enable one at a time it sounds like its mixing commands if you want to enable both set up different profiles example: games, office. I have only one profile and in that profile I've enabled cpu only this means the fans are only going to come when cpu reaches certain temps.
