I have an E1505 and I fear that powerplay is no longer working for me. I dont believe that my GPU is being underclocked, even when I set it at maximum battery performance. Battery life is drained at the same speed it was at at optimal performance. Also, the options for powerplay were different before (I could select how much to downlock the video card based on the percentage of the battery left in the laptop, such as balanced at 50% and battery at 25%.) Now I dont even see that option. It used to be under rightclick desktop, properties, settings, advanced, powerplay.
I have no idea what changed this. I didnt install anything new driver wise except the fanio driver and then there was powerstrip, which I think was just fine.
Should reinstall the drivers, if so, point me to a guide for a clean install of drivers, to get rid of the old registires and such if it is necessary.
If anyone has any ideas about whats going on with my video card I would really appreciate it. Thanks.

First install NHC ( www.pbus-167.com) to see at what speed your ATI card is running. Next post the numbers in this thread.

The clock is the same as it is after I put on maximum battery time. 427/397. I am very concerned with my graphics card and believe that it is malfunctioning, that it may not be a software problem. Has anyone had a problem with this before with their laptops and the powerplay option.
