Thus far, I have been able to play this game ONCE since buying it a couple of weeks ago. Every other time it has frozen at the loading screen.

I just patched (v 1.2) the game last night and the results are the same.

Any ideas? Even when it did run, the load times (even w/ my Raptor!) were upwards of five minutes. All of my other games (FEAR, Oblivion, etc.) load and play beautifully.

i had no problems playing it....

ITs a great game but too easy.

i would say likely its the copy protection.

You may have to crack your legit copy.

Maybe do a defrag? did you disable any anti-virus?
tweakguides.com should provide some help in tweaking it, if that works.
Did you try re-installing the game? maybe that would solve the problem. If not, then yeah, a copy protection problem might be what you have here.

also, this should be in the game forum...

I have defragged, but not turned off my antivirus (eTrust). I'll give it a shot and then look into cracking it.
