Just started to play it. The pace is a bit too slow?

Yeah it's a long game. Not really so different from the games that is expands on ( like System Shock 1/2, Deus Ex, Bioshocks to a lesser extent. I mean the Arkane team comes from people going as far back as System Shock which was the game that pretty much created this immersive first-person RPG type game.

It's still one of my favorite games of 2017.. which was filled with games that I liked (Wolfenstien II, Divinity OS 2 etc..)

After watched several YouTube videos, finally I understand the weapons, upgrades and resources management.

I did not have any chances to play System Shock, but yes Prey has several elements combined from Half-Life, Bioshock, Dues Ex HR and Dishonored. These games are my favourites, so I feel a bit weird when playing Prey.

I’m finding the weapons and doing several Neuromod upgrades right now. I think I'm spending a lot of time exploring the maps (checking computers, drawers, dead bodies, secrets etc ). I hope the pace and story will get better after I start to do the missions.
