It says that 2008/9 will bring another Prince Of Persia title.
I`m really hoping that`s the case, I loved the POP series, must have played them each at least 3 times :D

I have. Now I must ask, why did you get bored with it? It`s an amazing game, awesome story(its best feature actually, cause the fighting itself was not much of a big deal).
The second part is the hardest as you have 2 endings to it and the constant run from the Dahaka is another story plus.
The third part features the prince returning home to find what his changing of the past has done to the future and his father`s kingdome. Most notably the speedkill feature.
I hated the game at first, but following the story, the game turned into one of the best stories I`ve seen in a game.
It`s why I am awaiting eagerly for the next title.
Btw, my favourite one is the second part,it also has an awesome soundtrack :D

Oh man I wish that's true. I've been looking forward to a new PoP title for ages. I also loved the PoP Warrior Within, because Sands of Time just didn't have the graphical details to make the game look believable, while Two Thrones just looked weird somehow. Warrior Within also had a dark theme which was perfect for a PoP game in my opinion, and the part near the end where you get to safe yourself-in-the-past was just brilliant.

I really enjoyed POP 1. Jumping puzzles and mechanisms are right up my ally when not fragging away in a good FPS. I got stuck at some part in POP 2 and just moved on to something else. This was a long time ago... one day I may pick it up again. But I was not as captivated with 2 like I was with POP 1. Not sure why? That seemed to be the general consensus at the time I was playing as well. Probably why I decided to move on to something else.

I have the original soundtrack, and man this game still makes me play it again. I had problems with getting all the 9 life upgrades by myself, but I am very stubhorn and eventually got them all. I am sure that one day I`ll pick up the whole series once again,as I did with the whole Half Life univers(played HL, Hl2, Hl2 Ep1 when HL2 was released so that I`d refresh my memory of all the events :D

Now you're talking! Played HL 1 & 2 numerous times, Ep 1 & 2 twice each. I will probably play them all again this year too. Played Blue Shift, Opposing Force and HL 1 on PS2, along with Decay on PS2. I love HL! :D

Dude,I have a whole selection of HL mods, over 50 of them gathered along time. Some featuring alternate HL stories, others are total conversions.Loved each and every one of them.
I can compare them to the POP series due to the fantastic stories these games have. It`s their best feature yet.

I know this thread is about POP but I can't help myself... I did not mention mods. But 50... O.O wow that's crazy, you rule! I have played maybe up to 10 mods + the Cinematic Mod for HL2 & Ep 1. Version 6-7 is for 64bit only so no CM for Ep 2 for me... yet. Ok no more thread jacking during POP thread. Sorry ;)
