Hey, I've installed Prince of Persia-The Sands of Time on my xps m1530. I know for a fact my rig can handle the game - 256mb 8600m GT ddr3, 4 gigs ram, 2.4 ghz, 160 gig hd @7200 rpm. However, though my framerate stays constant at 60, the game seems to be "choppy". What can I do to fix this problem? Im running windows xp, and my gpu driver version in device manager says 6.14.11.6501.

I don`t remember if it had a V sync option, if it does, disable it.
Also, check the Nvidia Control Panel , disable the Vsync.
Yes,your system should be more than capable at running it maxxed out.

I just disabled v sync, but it doesn't seem to have made any difference. Also, I should note that when the game runs, it runs "choppy", but the game speed itself is faster. So, it runs choppy, but faster than usual.

Maybe its the anti aliasing, I had to turn it off to get decent framerate on my lappy (hp 8710p, 4gigs of RAM with quadro nvs 320m), with everything else turned on. Im playing the Warrior within tho.
