Microsoft is setting up a way for customers to "print their own games" in their Microsoft stores. I guess this is a good way to save money, and perhaps retailers might be more likely to do this if they don't want to sacrifice space for PC games. Just have a kiosk or two and have it done on the spot. Pretty good idea. Maybe even for consoles too, I mean why not? It would be a good way to compete with the likes of Steam and Direct2Drive, etc.

nice, i like it. this is a good idea, not only does it kill the whole "i have 1700 copies of this crappy game in my back stock" problem but it doesnt make me buy a digital copy...i like my boxes.

Thats cool, dont see it working in your average electronics/game store as a replacement though to the games on the shelves. The unit would not be able to keep up with the demand.
Plus this just seems like more ways for people to reverse engineer how to make there own legit fake games to me.
Print your own games in the store... interesting
