Heya i'm havin a prob with command and conquer: generals on my laptop. For some reason it won't run...

Installed latest drivers and latest directx and so on... Other games like guild wars and all run fine on max so i don't really c the prob... but everytime i start generals it stays on the loading screen and in task manager says it doesn't respond.... Checked help stuff and all but didnt find any awnsers...

All i know is when i use the system check thingy from generals it says my cpu speed is 399 mhz and it needs 800 but normally i should have above 800 mhz dunno....

Hehe sounds kinda complicated and noobish here :p but did anyone else have this prob with generals by any chance?

    IntelĀ® CoreTM Duo Processor T2400 - 1.860 GHz
    # Front Side Bus: 677MHz
    # 2nd level cache : 2MB

    1 GB DDR-RAM

    radeon x1400 256mb (hypermem)

its speed step kicking in, dont worry about it, when you actually play the game it will throttle up to full speed, are you tryiing to run the game on battery?, that could give you problems
