I got a problem playing GTA San Andreas. The videos and graphics come good, but when the actual game play comes, the movement keys behave erratically. The view is also opposite i.e., it is like when we press Q+E. The controls behave exactly opposite.
I am using Acer Aspire 4530 laptop with nVidia 9100M G 256MB Graphics, AMD Turion QL-60 processor, 1 GB DDR2 RAM. I am playing GTA SA with a resolution of 800X600X32.
Any one please help!!
Also when I play POP: Warrior Within, there is only the shadow of prince but nothing else. And that shadow also disappears often and nothing else is visible. But the videos in the game are displaying well. I am able to listen sounds when I move the prince but on the screen nothing is visible.

Go to My Documents>GTA San Andreas User Files and delete the gta_sa.set file. Reconfigure your settings and controls. See if this works.

I did that. I tried re installation and deleting that gta_sa.set file. But it is not working. Regarding that POP: WW, I found the solution. There is a setting named fog in display controls. By default it is enabled high. I lowered it and the problem is set right. But the GTA problem still persists.
By the way, thanks for all of you for taking time to respond. -
have you tried updating your video card drivers?
-
What OS are you using? If its Vista you might want to consider adding more RAM.

I think I have updated drivers. But I want to know where I can find the latest drivers for nVidia 9100M Graphics and I have updated audio drivers. I am using Windows XP. I installed Windows 7 beta and it is also working fine.

latest drivers : laptopvideo2go.com

I installed nVidia Detonator. I installed latest drivers. Even then also San Andreas is working not fine. I don't think it is a problem of drivers. because I am able to play NFS: Most Wanted and Prince of Persia perfectly and at high settings.

Prince of Persia never runs without bugs. And if it ever does run without bugs, it won't run smoothly. I threw my copy of the game in the garbage already.
