After an accident happened on my CPU, my desktop isn't able to play 3D games and FPS games. The computer shuts down by itself after a few minutes of playing those games. Could it be that my graphic card is spoiled?

Any ideas as to why and what I should do to solve this?

    Thank you. :)

Sounds heat related, most modern CPUs will have a automatic failsafe to stop it cooking itself and just shut down.

What exactly happened to the CPU?

Use the above to look at the temps and post them here.

Yea..i know about that. My pc is still able to run for a day and still able to handle low graphics demanding games...

Well, i was moving to australia and the airline people dropped the box with my CPU in it in front of my face...after that this happens..and parts of the casing came off...

If those temps are with you doing nothing, eg just browsing the web i would be more then a little concerned, the GPU temp is way on the high side and the Q6600 is running rather hot as well. You need to open the case up clean the fans on both the GFX card and CPU out including any other dust and check the fan connectors to make sure the fans are still working.

Yeah, your GPU is WAAAYYY high. I'd open up the case and make sure something didn't come unplugged and that the GPU fan is spinning.

Seriously - looks like the fan's NOT working. 90 degrees for a desktop video card is extreme. You should hurry up and buy a new one, before you permanently damage your GPU.
