    Hey.

I can't start a Counter strike source single player or create a server on my XPS M1530, when it gets to the loading screen, it gets stuck on the "loading ressources" screen and i got to the program manually on the task manager.

I have the laptopvideo2go drivers, and this is happening on windows XP and Vista.

Anyone with the same problem, or know how to fix this? cheers.

when u go to task manager does it say the program is running or not responding. You know hosting a server isn't really smart on a laptop. People use servers to do that, hense the name server.

Well Dreidel I know why hes doing it - its to check out multiplayer levels to see if they even load, I'm sure hes not trying to host a server from his laptop....

My cousin hosts a server on his laptop (Dell E1505) and he was 1GB of ram. Runs smoothly for him apparently.

@OP, have you tried playing a regular server? Does it crash then? How about during the Stress Test?

Firewall issues perhaps? I know I had some when I played CS:S a while ago.

    Hey guys.

I don´t wanna host a server on my laptop, just play on lan with my brother, and be able to create a game to play with bots.

It does not happen on multiplayer games, just when y host the game on my computer.

    Any ideas?

    Cheers
