So I have already reinstalled my gpu drivers (uninstalled, rebooted, reinstalled from AMD) and I am still having this problem. I use HWiNFO to check all my temps. Before I apply any overclocking in Sapphire Trixx, my temps are idling around 40-43 Celsius and my gpu clock is 100, with a memory clock of 150. As soon as I overclock the gpu, no matter what the settings are, it changes the idle clocks to 405/1000. This also increases idle temps to around 53 celcius. Any idea why overclocking with Sapphire Trixx is causing the idle clocks to increase as well? I have been using it for a while and it just randomly started doing this. Thanks ahead of time. :)

Also, forgot to add, even after closing Sapphire Trixx (even tried ending process to make sure it wasn't running) it still clocks at 450/1000. It does not go back to 100/150 until I do a restart.

If I understand your question correct, it's because you're "overclocking" it. It has a faster clock speed therefore running faster therefore generating more heat.

For example: The 5850 in my sig was clocked at 775 / 1125 idling at 32C. After overclocking to 800 / 1200 it now idles at 36C.

I understand that, but when I am running a game, the clocks go from the 100/150 idle to 700/1000 when under load. Now, what I am saying, is that the idle clocks did not change until just recently, only the clocks when under load. So, if I set the clocks to 854/1200, it should still idle at 100/150 until its under load, then it should go to 854/1200. It used to stay idle at 100/150 no matter what overclock settings I applied until I was putting it under load.

yes, the overclock sticks even when you close TRiXX. you have to reapply the old clocks again.

Im not sure your understanding my problem. The idle clocks should NOT CHANGE when I overclock, only the clocks when under load. The idle clocks DO NOT GO BACK to original clocks unless I restart. Even if I hit RESET in Sapphire Trixx.
