I posted this some time back, but I didn't get too many replies. Does anyone here have a problem when they run a Valve game (CS:S/L4D/TF2/etc.) and ObjectDock together? For games like TF2 or L4D, it only uses about 60 - 70% of the usual CPU power if ObjectDock is running, and this drop in CPU computing power causes my game to lag as the CPU is the bottleneck. If ObjectDock is off, the game starts to utilise more CPU power again, and my FPS increases by about 10 - 20.

The same problem also seems to exist for Rainlendar, Rainmeter and RocketDock. I'm kinda wondering if anyone else is experiencing this too, and knows of any workaround. I would really hate to have to turn on and off my dock everytime I play a game.

But Im on a pc not a mac... I dont know how to explain it except that when you play the games you could turn off the apps :p

Hmm, could you open your task manager, check your CPU usage while playing a Valve game with ObjectDock & Rainlendar on and off, then post back your results here.

I tried it on my 5 year old PC and it has the same problem.
