So I just got my new e1705, w/ core dou 2.0ghz, 1gig of 533 ram, 80 gig hardrive, and an x1400 with hypermemory. Ive installed three games so far in this order.....Star wars Empire at war(runs perfect) Americas Army(also runs perfect) and Lord of the Rings The Battle for Middle Earth 2(which is what Im having problems with). The lotr:bfme2, has worked good for me on medium settings until I reach this one level with alot of stuff going on at once, and then it crashes and says OUTOFMEMORY, then it jsut shuts out of the game and its not fun. I tried rebootin the game right afterwards and it said that i needed directx 9.0 installed, which I knew I already had, but what the heck Ill reinstall it anyway. So I did and restarted the whole computer, but it happened again. So I was wondering if any of you guys had any tips on this and what it means along with how to keep it from happening. Thank you very much for your help and it would be much appreciated!

try enabling Hypermemory for your card. it dose help a little.

other than that...i would suggest that you clean installl your operating system....maybe too much bloatware might be causing this.

Hypermemory is enabled by default. I havent seen anywhere (i got an E1505) where to enable/disable it.

Perhaps post the settings you run at along with the requirements for the game; I don't know how demanding the game is. It is possible that you are pushing the card too hard.

Could you be more specific? Resolution, AA/AF if applicable. Maybe take a screenshot of the settings.

What about trying with lowest possible setting for the game and see if that helps?
