I installed this on tonight on my brand new vostro 1500 with XP/8600GT and it just won't play

It wanted Directx9 to run so I installed whatever they were asking for and after about 1 minute the game it locks up and says "The nv4_disp driver has stopped working normally". At this point I have to hold down the power button to restart the computer.

It automatically scales the resolution down to the lowest possible 640x400. No idea what the problem could be, is there something I'm missing here?

Updated to the latest drivers yet? Read the sticky on the top of this forum on instructions on where to download and how to install. Try one of the 167xx WHQL drivers first and see if it solves your problem.
