I just got a computer with the ATI 8970m. It is an amazing machine but for what ever reason GTA does not run on it. When I try to change the video setting it says that I have only 38 MB of memory available. It should be 4 GB of memory. I have read that GTA 4 on the PC has its problems but I have not been able to fin a solution. IT is the steam version and I have tried placing "-nomemrestrict" and "-norestrictions " in the star options, to no avail. All it lets me do is change the graphics settings but it still shows only 38 MB of memory available. I know the video card works because I have played Borderlands 2 on high settings. Any help is welcome. Thanks.

    Hi,
You will need to use "-norestrictions -nomemrestrict" option. If it steam:
right click the game the select properties then click Set Launch Options and add "-norestrictions -nomemrestrict" (without the quotes). If it not steam then it’s something similar but do it for the exe file.
