Okay this is the TV (note the max resolution) I use for my 360 and I thought I'd try out dual screen as my new laptop has a HDMI port

Buy Alba 16 Inch HD Ready Digital LCD TV. at Argos.co.uk - Your Online Shop for .

Anyway, I connected it to my laptop, set up dual screen and set the max resolution of the TV to 1920x1080 and it shows up full screen on my TV, but everything (like text) is really small. I changed the resolution to 1366x768, but then it just shows up in the middle of the screen, with black bars around it, and everything is still small :(

    Any ideas?

not sure if it will work as its an external monitor but worth a try.
Ctrl + turn mouse wheel up or down. this makes text bigger on screen so should do the same for an external. it will only work on webpages/forums/text documents though.
