I would like to collect a lot of 3D Mark 2006 detail results to create a database. In past time, I already made one with 3D Mark 2005. The goal is to help people comparaing CPU and GPU power. Doing such a data base takes times, so, to keep required time as lower as possible, please provide the information using this sample :

Note : Please, try to be as precise as possible for component name : Core 2 Duo is not Core2 Duo nor Core2Duo. This will help a lot for sorting results.

To know about your laptop hardware :
    - CPUZ : http://www.cpuid.com/cpuz.php
    - PC Wizard : http://www.cpuid.com/pcwizard.php
    - Everest : http://www.google.be/search?hl=fr&q=everest&****=

Best way to have a correct (or the best) score :
    - Get the leatest driver for your graphic card
    - Run the bench with the laptop pluged
    - Use high performances power scheme
    - Reboot your laptop before starting the bench
    - Stop all background applications : AIM, P2P, AV (go off line before), mail client, and so on
    - Check your graphic driver is set to default (don't use antialiasing)
    - Run 3D Mark 2006 with default setting. It needs a 1280x1024 screen. If your screen size is smaller (1280x800, 1024x768 ou 1440X900), please precise it.

    Get 3D Mark 2006 : http://www.futuremark.com/download/3dmark06/

You need to be online to get the result. Set your AV on before reconnect.

Results will be collected in an XLS file aviable for download and as a capture in this first post. I have already opened the same file in an french forum. First results :

Mind you, the resolution at which you notebook was bench'd at should also be listed, and it makes quite a big difference.

True, I forget to tell about. I ask to test with 3D Mark 06 default setting or to tell if the screen is smaller than 1280x1024.
